This is a new Club for Gwelfor and it was born in 2016 as a result of the Red Cross running a six-week course to help bring together people who are over 50 years of age. The Club has been set-up to renew old friendships and to meet new. To-date the members have had various speakers speaking on various topics covering the environment, history, ‘Bogus Callers’, Ynys Mon Council, Citizen Advice and Art & Craft to name a few. There have also been times when they have just had a chat and swap ideas advice on knitting, crochet and life in general. Tea/coffee and biscuit will be served during the 2 hours.
Do not be afraid to come along on a Wednesday afternoon between 1.30 and 3.30 pm as the members are all friendly and all new members are warmly welcomed.
Members put £1 in the kitty weekly.
